Halter hands over ZenO in Oberdorf

Stans, 1 June 2026

Schlieren/Oberdorf/Stans - Halter AG has handed over the modern ZenO residential complex in the center of Oberdorf to its residents. The complex comprises 50 new apartments in addition to a range of commercial spaces. The construction was commissioned by the Nidwalden Cantonal Pension Fund and the first residents have already moved in.

Halter AG, the construction and real estate company from Schlieren in the canton of Zurich, has built a residential and commercial complex in Oberdorf in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden on behalf of the Nidwalden Cantonal Pension Fund, which is based in Stans. According to a LinkedIn post, the ZenO project was realized on the historic Landsgemeindeplatz in the centre of Oberdorf.

The residential and commercial complex, which features 50 high-quality apartments and retail spaces open to the public, was handed over at the end of March, as Halter writes on LinkedIn. At the start of May, the first tenants moved into the ZenO project, while Migros, as the lead tenant, will ensure the local provision of goods and services over the long term.

The building, which pursues a sustainable management concept, is dominated by a striking timber facade. An integrated photovoltaic system and district heating supplied by the Genossenkorporation Stans, a public corporation that manages the historical communal assets and real estate of its members, play a part in the resource-efficient operation of the ZenO project. With this new building, the aim is to create an attractive and vibrant focal point for the various villages and hamlets that make up the municipality Oberdorf. ce/ww
