Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is important to us. When storing and processing your user data, the relevant federal and cantonal data protection regulations and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are therefore complied with, where applicable:

Privacy policy

If you provide us with personal information online, this personal data will only be used for the order you have placed with us. Depending on the type of service, various different software components as well as the operators of these components may be involved. Like us, such third parties are subject to the joint obligation to comply fully with the provisions of data protection and to only use personal data in accordance with the defined order and for the declared purpose.

In order to prevent abuse, our hosting partner stores the IP address together with online services. The data is deleted on a regular basis. Data deletion can also be requested at any time via the web master (see below).

According to the Federal Act on the Surveillance of Post and Telecommunications (SPTA), the connection data (log data) of access to our website (known as marginal data) must be stored by our hosting partner for six months. This data is only passed on to authorised police and other authorised authorities and services of the Confederation and/or the Canton on request in connection with possible criminal offences, and in all other cases is deleted after the retention period has expired.

Our system works with cookies that are used specifically to offer users a higher level of user friendliness. Cookies are files that are exchanged between the user’s browser (such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and the web server and are stored in the user’s browser. These cookies store certain settings and information about the use of the website. You can also disable cookies (under Browser Settings/Privacy). However, please note that in this case, not all functions on our website may be fully usable.

Security

Together with our provider, we have taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction of data or unauthorised access to this data when using our website.

The entire website is SSL-encrypted. This ensures that third parties cannot read the transmitted data. The encryption mechanisms are always state-of-the-art and are constantly being adapted to new findings (such as AES-256-bit-TLS). The company’s website collects a series of general data and information each time an individual or an automated system accesses the website. This general data and information is stored in the server log files. The following are collected:
 (1) the browser types and versions used,
 (2) the operating system used by the accessing system;
 (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (known as the referrer),
 (4) the sub-websites navigated to via an accessing system on our website,
 (5) the date and time of access to the website,
 (6) an Internet protocol address (IP address),
 (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system and
 (8) other similar data and information used for security purposes in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.

When using this general data and information, no conclusions are drawn by the company regarding the individual concerned. Instead, this information is needed to:
 (1) deliver the content of our website correctly,
 (2) to optimise the content of our website and its advertising,
 (3) to ensure the long-term functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and
 (4) to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for law enforcement in the event of a cyber attack.

The company therefore analyses this anonymously collected data and information statistically, with the aim of increasing the data protection and data security of our company, and to ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data of the server log files is stored separately from all personal data provided by the individual involved.

This website is hosted by cyon GmbH, Basel.

Please note that emails sent by you to us or by us to you are not encrypted and are therefore not considered a secure means of communication. Emails can be temporarily stored, evaluated and read by intermediaries, such as email providers (Bluewin, Hotmail, Gmail, Cablecom, etc.) or employers (for business emails), but also by attackers (what are known as “men in the middle”), particularly (but not exclusively) when using WiFi. You should therefore not use emails for confidential matters or confidential data, especially not for personal data.
